Building Bridges Through The Arts
HERITAGE MURAL TRAIL:

HELP MAKE HISTORY!

Become part of Harrisburg’s first-ever citywide mural project!

People are getting excited about The Heritage Mural Trail. To celebrate Harrisburg’s 150th birthday, students and community members all over the city will make over a dozen murals. The Heritage Mural Trail will include Harrisburg neighborhoods that will paint their histories--and visions for a brighter tomorrow--on murals. These paintings will beautify and brighten the city and attract and educate tourists. Visitors will be able to enjoy the route through uptown, midtown, downtown, south Harrisburg, Shipoke, Allison Hill and Bellevue Park to get a glimpse into the colorful pasts and hopeful futures of these neighborhoods. Since this is a community mural project, many diverse artists, groups, sponsors and people of all ages and abilities will be able to feel the excitement of mural making.
